DESCRIPTION:
My felted tassels are artistically designed to accentuate the inherent beauty of natural wool locks. To make my tassels, I use natural, or hand dyed, sheep wool which is shorn for the sheep's pleasure & yours as they are alive & well, happily roaming the fields on their small family farms.
This unique tassel features locks from a gorgeous Longwool sheep which takes a full 2 years to grow!

THE PROCESS:
Felting is a labor of love with each piece being designed & artfully crafted entirely by hand. The end result is undeniably lovely and because of the hand made nature, you can be assured that no two will ever be the same. In fact, they will assuredly be "imperfectly perfect" with all of the characteristics of the natural wool emerging in each carefully designed piece. That, to me, is what makes each such a beautiful art piece for you to both use and enjoy!
PLEASE NOTE:
The wool & locks I use is purchased directly from & supports small farms & shepherds. You may find bits of hay or wild vegetation occasionally within which adds a unique artistic & organic quality to each hand designed piece.

The tassel is a piece that can be used in many different ways. It has such long and silky ivory locks that are accented with bright color. It arrived very quickly and I received excellent customer service.
