DESCRIPTION:
Angora goat's have the silkiest fiber with a shimmery sheen. they are incredibly silky with a shimmery sheen... A dream to sink your fingers into!

*toss over the arm or backside of your sofa
*use as a pillow "cover" simply place square fleece over an existing pillow or have me make into an actual pillow

THE PROCESS:
Felting is a labor intensive art with each finished piece involving many hours of work - all done by hand! The end result is undeniably lovely and because of the hand made nature, you can be assured that no two pieces will ever be the same (in fact, a sheep's fleece will always grow back in with subtle differences from year to year) - thus assuring you of original and functional art for your home. Because they are entirely hand made, they are 100% natural and the felted back side allows the fleece to "breathe" which makes it perfect for use all year long since it adjusts to your body temperature. Wool is the perfect 4 season fiber.

PLEASE NOTE:
* Prior to the actual felting process, I spend a great deal of time removing bits of bedding and vegetable matter from each fleece. You will, however, expect to find some remaining vegetable matter such as hay, straw, etc. which is more visible on light & dark colored fleeces

* My felted fleeces are entirely hand made resulting in an earthy, organic quality! They are respond to use differently than a tanned hide. Each fleece has its own characteristics & some will shed more than others. If you have a particular use in mind, feel free to contact me so I can do my best to assist you in selecting the most suitable fleece for your needs.

*once completed, I hand wash each fleece using an all natural plant based cleanser which is safe for the environment and restores the natural pH of the wool. They are then set out to dry under the sun.
